About Submachine 9 The Temple: Play submachine 9 the temple a point-n-click mystery escape game and once again try to leave the solemn machine by overcoming obstacles blocking your exit path. Use your mouse to examine objects of interest or interact with them to move or get them to work. You start off with a hammer and a strange looking control pad that may prove useful later on. There are many rooms, tunnels, ladders, etc. in this game, so keep your head cool!
This walkthrough provides a quick (relatively quick!) solution. There are more to explore and secrets to be found, but that will be outside the scope of this solution.
Submachine 9 the temple game walkthrough starts here:
There is nothing here to do.
Go all the way right to the elephant statues.
Take the brass rod.
Insert the rod in the brass opening. Pull the lever to open the door in the screen to the left.
Go left.
The door will now be open:
Enter.
Go all the way right.
Take the brass jug.
Go left until you are out, the one more left to the green fountain.
Fill the brass jug at the pipe where the green stuff go out.
You now have karmic water.
Go right and enter the door.
Go right and enter the door.
Use the karmic water in the brass bowl.
Go out.
Go right.
Use the karmic water in the brass bowl.
Take the cog wheel in the center of the green image.
Go left.
Enter.
Insert the gear into the semi-circle.
Pull the lever.
This will open a secret door.
Go out of this area.
Go all the way left.
This is the opening you just created:
Enter
Crawl through the tunnel. Keep goning left.
Pull the hoop-in-the-bar down to create a ladder.
Climb up.
Go right.
Take the brass scarab on the floor.
Go left, down, right.
Insert the scarab.
Take the part-of-a-stone-key.
Go left, up, left.
Use the karmic water in the brass bowl.
Pull the hoop you created to open up the ladder:
Climb up.
Go left.
Take the part-of-a-stone-key. Combine the 2 parts to make a stone key.
Insert the stone key into the big hole on the left.
This will open up the gate.
Climb down.
Takethe ladder rung and insert it into the ladder hole in the wall.
Go left:
Look at the indent in the wall. You will see IIII0II. This means press button 5 on the device. Count the buttons as follows:

So 5 is the second-from-bottom on the left. Press it.
A bar will come up with a brass key on top. Take the key and insert into the hole.
The will will lift so that you can go left.
Go left.
Take the brass bowl.
Go right, right.
Place the bowl on the rock and fill with karmic water.
It will create a ladder so that you can climb out if you want to.
Go left, left.
Climb down.
Go right, right.
Lift the top of the bowl.
Take the brass sphere.
Fill the bowl with karmic water and take the seal.
Go right.
Take the chest key.
Go left, left.
Climb down.
Go left, left, left.
Look in the hole in the wall:
Take the quarter brass tile.
Go right 6 times.
Look at the indent: 0110110
Press button 1 on the device.
Press button 4 on the device.
Add karmic water:
Press button 7 on the device.
Add karmic water.
Press button 1 on the device.
Pull the lever:
Go right and take the 2nd brass tile. Go left.
Go left 4 times and note the trapdoor is open:
Climb down.
Go left, left, left.
Take the lever handle.
Go all the way right.
Go 1 left.
Take the stone tablet.
Go left and up.
Go left:
Insert the stone tablet into the socket.
You will get a ladder:
Climb up and get the 3rd quarter brass tile.
Climb down.
Go right, right, up.
Go left, up.
Go right, right, up, right, right:
Insert the chest key.
Take the 4th brass tile.
Go left, left, down.
Go left, left, down.
Go right, down.
Go left, down.

Look at the indent tile: 1111101
Press button 6 on the device.
Insert the 4 quarter brass tiles.
You will get a staircase going down.
Go down.
Go left and take the stone eye.
Go right, right, right, right.
Ring the bell with the hammer.

Go all the way downstairs and get the brass bowl at the bottom.
Climb back up.
Go left, left, left and up the stairs.
Go right, right, right, right.
Enter the window.
Put the brass bowl in the hoop.
Fill with karmic water.
Go right, right, right, right.
Press button 4 on the device.
Go right.
Enter the hole to go down.
Go all the way right.
Insert the lever:
Pull the lever.
Go left 5 times.
Ring the bell with the hammer.
(When you ring this bell, the other earring appears:
Climb all the way down.
Go all the way left.
Take the ritual brass bowl.
Go right.
Climb down all the way, then left all the way, then up.
Go forward x2 then use the stone eye on the tomb to open it.
Take the golden seal of Mortuagh.
Go back 1x
Go right.
Fill the bowl with karmic water.
Enter at the center of the green circle.
Open the device on the floor to get a brass key.
Return through the portal.
Go left.
Go down.
Go right.
Open the top of the bottle and throw karmic water in.
Take the green karmic seal.
Go left, down, down, right, right, right, right, up, up.
Righ x5.
Go up the stairs to the bell.
Go right 4x.
Insert the ritual brass bowl. Fill with karmic water.
Pull the lever to the right:
Go left, left, up.
Go right:
Climb the rope up.
Go left and take the stone eye.
Go right and down.
Go left down right.
Press #5 on the device.
Insert the green small karmic seal.
Press #6 on the device.
Go right and flip the switch to the left.
Go all the way left to the bell.
Climb down.
Go all the way right.
Insert the brass key to open the gates.
Go right, right, right, right, right.
Press the switch on the statue.
Go left, left.
Go forward, forward to the tomb.
Put the stone eye on the tomb to open.
Take the golden seal of Elizabeth.
Go down, then left.
Inser the brass sphere to open the portal:
Enter the portal then go right to get the rope.
Go left and exit the portal.
Go right, down.
Go left, left, left, left, left.
Insert the 2 golden seals.
Press both levers down:
Go left, left.
Climb down under the statue.
Climb all the way down.
Insert the brass valve.
Turn the valve.
Use the rop on the hook.
Climb down the rope.
At the bottom jump down.
Go right to this room:
Press button 3.
Enter the portal.
Pull the lever then take 3 wisdom gems.
Exit the portal.
Go left.
Press button 2 then insert a gem:
Press button 4 then insert a gem.
Press button 6 then insert a gem.
Go left and take the button.
Insert the button into the device.
Press button 8.
Go all the way left.
Enter the white portal to win.
